Your Sports Bra Is Crying: The Care Guide for Hard-Working Support
A good high-impact bra is engineering — panels, encapsulation, straps doing structural math. And most of them die young, murdered by dryers and eternal re-wearing. For fuller-bust support that costs real money, care is not fussiness. It is asset management.

The Death-by-Dryer Problem
Heat kills elastic, and elastic IS the support. Air dry always — flat or hung by the band, never by the straps (gravity stretches the exact part doing the work). The dryer has claimed enough good bras.
Wash Logic
After every sweaty wear (bacteria eat elastane and reputations), cold water, mesh bag, hooks fastened, no softener ever. Hand-wash is the luxury option; machine-gentle in a bag is the honest one.

Rotation Math
Elastic needs 24 hours to rebound between wears — two bras minimum for regular training, three for daily. Rotating doubles each bra’s lifespan, which makes the second bra effectively free. Tell your budget.
Retirement Signs
Band riding up, straps needing constant shortening, bounce where there was none, cups wrinkling: the support has left the building. Twelve-ish months of heavy use is a full life. Retire with gratitude.
Cold wash, air dry, rotate the squad, retire at the signs. Your bra holds you through every workout — the least you can do is keep it off death row (the dryer). It has done nothing wrong.
